Jacek Spendel

President and Founder

Founder and President of the Freedom and Entrepreneurship Foundation. He is also European Programs’ Director at US-based Language of Liberty Institute.

Jacek obtained master’s degree in sociology from the University of Silesia in Katowice. He also studied at Georgetown University in Washington, DC and Jagiellonian University in Cracow where he was a PhD candidate in political philosophy (unfinished). Over the years, Jacek accumulated experience in management from KoLiber Association (President, 2006-2007) and Globalization Institute (Project Manager, 2005-2012). During that period he interned at various institutions, including: Kodak Eastman Company (USA), Goldwater Institute (USA), Institute for Free Enterprise (Germany). He is also alumni of two programs of The Fund for American Studies: AIPES in Prague, and Capital Semester in Washington, DC.

Jacek strengthened his management skills with Think Tank MBA and ATLAS Leadership Academy (2013). He practiced them in many projects, among them: organization of dozen Liberty English Camps, directorship at Polish-American Leadership Academy, production of 12-episodes of Freedom under Fire video series , and coordination of ESFL in Poland. He also used to run his own pizza business in Katowice. Currently he is busy with Project Arizona, internship-educational project for international students he runs in Phoenix.

Marcin Chmielowski

Vice-President

Graduate of political science (Jagiellonian University) and post-graduate student of the central banking and monetary policy (Institute of Economic Science at the Polish Academy of Science) . Mr. Chmielowski is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in the field of political science at the Pedagogical University in Kraków. Executive director of the Academy of Young Entrepreneurs, Freedom and Entrepreneurship Foundation’s project. Chairman of the Krakow branch of the KoLiber Association. Nominee in the “Magister PAFERE” competition of the Polish-American Foundation for Economic Research and Education. Co-worker of the Mises Institute Poland, journalist. His academic interest concentrates around libertarianism with the special stress on anarchocapitalism.

Paweł Piwowar

Project development specialist

Responsible for project planning and development. His passion is working with information, which he fulfills by developing streaming services. Previously an analyst at Thomson Reuters and news editor at Onet.pl. He is also strongly interested in international affairs and former USSR countries, especially Ukraine.

Magdalena Spendel

Project Manager

Studia magisterskie z ekonomii ukończyła na Uniwersytecie Wrocławskim. Ich wynikiem była nagrodzona w konkursie Magister PAFERE praca magisterska, a następnie napisana książka „Jak Zostać Tygrysem Gospodarczym Europy” na temat transformacji gospodarczej Estonii. Od początku studiów zaangażowana w organizacje pozarządowe. Obecnie jest dyrektorem Polsko-Amerykańskiej Akademii Liderów, zajmuje się także Projectem Arizona i Liberty Connectorem

Tomasz Pułról

Prawnik, publicysta, ekspert Instytutu Przedsiębiorczości i Rozwoju oraz
wykładowca Polsko-Amerykańskiej Akademii Liderów. Wcześniej pełnił funkcję Prezesa Stowarzyszenia KoLiber. Od lat związany z sektorem organizacji pozarządowych.

Karolina Kowacka

Social Media Manager

Studentka germanistyki na Uniwersytecie Warszawskim. Od paru lat zaangażowana w działanie na rzecz wolności gospodarczej i osobistej. W Fundacji zajmuje się social mediami.
